Bit of a left field q for here but hoping for some input. I've got some new metal garden furniture and I'm wondering what people's tips are for rust prevention. It's not stainless steel, just painted black, and I'm considering spraying it all with some matt clear lacquer. Good idea or is there a better option? (Obviously in longer spells of rain I have a cover, this is just to help extend lifespan and for the occasional shower/condensation). Thanks!
