Hi All.
My daughter has just entered a new house. There is a protherm 40-50CI there. She tells me she has a couple of problems I hope you can help me with.
1- the hot water is always very hot.
I’ve told her to turn the thermostat on the boiler down to minimum. She says this has had no effect. My thoughts are the thermostat/temperature control unit on the boiler.
2- even with the radiators turned off upstairs she says they are still very hot.
I suppose all the radiator valves could be crook and still let water through. If it is not that what do you think it could be?
3 – the radiators down stairs do not warm up much. I’ve told her to bleed them.
Any advice will be gratefully received.
John
