I'm looking to install some pull out storage baskets in the kitchen and to add to existing ones already there. The existing pull out storage trays are installed in a 570mm width cabinet and other cabinets in the kitchen are also 570mm. Having looked online I can't see anywhere that does pull out storage to fit 570mm and I'm just wondering whoever designed the kitchen why on earth they didn't stick with cabinets with widths which would accept available sizes of pull out storage i.e. in multiples of 100mm.

As a result I will have to put in lengths of wood to take up the slack on either side so not ideal.

But you have got that, your cupboards are 600mm wide, with two sides that are 15mm thick, leaving 570. So check the technical spec of the ones you want to see if they say something like "suitable for 15 to 20mm thick cabinets".

See, for example, this one, would not be suitable for you, as it says from 16 to 20mm thick. In other words, from a 560 to 568mm opening for the 600mm version.

Gaz :)

Oh I see so that's how it's done :D

Well from what I've measured the side panels are 16mm thick. The opening is not quiet 570mm more like 568/569mm using my not so good tape measure so yes the link you provided would I believe fit.

Thank you so much for clearing that up (y)
