Hi, was wondering if anyone can help me here - total newbie when it comes to central heating!

Recently moved house, and inherited a Puma 80 boiler - switched on the central heating and the next day, found that the boiler's low pressure light was switched on.

Engineer was called in to service the boiler and re-pressurise the system for me. So I switch on the central heating and switch it off again a hour later. A couple of hours after that, the low pressure light comes on.

I'm not sure how to proceed now - is there a problem with the boiler, or (as i suspect), a problem with the radiators?

Thanks

probably nothing to do with your rads but more likely with your expansion vessel

when the boiler is running in central heating look underneath it at the pressure guage and see what the pressure is, also look outside to where your pressure relief outlet pipe terminates if that is leaking you need a new expansion vessel and most likely a new pressure relief valve
