Hi All,
Just tried posting earlier but it crashed on me and I was unable to post.. anyway, here's another try.
Our Puma 80 has crap out on us again.. happens every winter which is the worst time this could happen!
Yesterday, we lost the electrics to it but have found out that it was the fuse on the pcb so we have replaced it and now it lights up again. However, whilst we were trying to fix it, we released all the pressure out of the system overnight by twiddling with a u-tube that's connected between the flow isolating valve and the return isolating valve (used to repressurise the system).
Now when we turn on the hot water we get a click and a hum.. it makes all the right sounds but the burner doesn't seem to kick in.. there is a pilot light though. I wonder if the gas pipe is blocked?
I have no idea about plumbing but is there anything basic which i can check before i call a plumber?
Thanks guys
