We are getting a loft extension soon and some time after a replacement combi boiler, to be located on the ground floor.

Current boiler is a Wocester Greenstar 24i, which I see has a head of 2meters.

Does this mean that the existing boiler could have a problem pumping central heating to radiator(s) in new loft extension?

Thanks

That's not what it means. The pump head is the pressure difference, expressed as the equivalent height of a water column, that the pump delivers at a specific flow rate. The increase in height of the system isn't relevant, the ascending flow is balanced by the descending return.
