Hello

My Potterton Lynx 2 pump has gone. Plumber is struggling to get a replacement pump.

In the manual it says Potterton part no. 411140 (Gas council 337 627)

The pump on the boiler at the moment (broken one) is a British Gas pump, TF110, IP42.

Ideally the plumber would just like to replace the current british gas pump so he can just replace the motor without disturbing the other pipe work.

Has anyone got any suggestions on where I can get a replacement pump? :D

A picture of the pump would be helpful.

British gas used to use myson pumps which had a black plastic nut over the impellor then they changed to a Grundfos pump.

Really a standard pump head off a Grundfos 15/60 may fit.

Yes the current pump does have a black plastic nut over the front.

Does this make the replacement any easier?

If it's a British Gas pump then it's probably the Myson type.

You could try a Grundfos head but like you say pump is obsolete now

And it sure did. The CP63 replaced the current pump easily. Thank you so much for all the advice. Boiler back up and running. For the moment.

Also since the pump change there are no cold spots on the bottom of the radiators now, they are hot top to bottom. Fantastic.
