The grundfos circulating pump in my heating system is stuck on either 2 or 3. I can't tell which it is but it neither speeds up or slows down when the selector is turned between these two positions. In position 1 the pump doesn't turn at all. Has anyone come across this before and if so how can it be fixed?

Either change the pump or find someone who can be a6sed changing bits of the electrics inside.
I have the same problem with my pump; it turned out that the speed adjuster has sheared off.
Turn power off and remove the single screw holding the black cover on.
This will reveal the spindle of the speed adjuster which can be turned with a pair of long nose pliers.
