Is anyone using a pure water / deionised water window cleaning kit?

Any recommendations for a basic setup for home use off a tap - buy a kit or buy the items separately?

And how long does the resin last if unused?
Thanks

Our window cleaner has just changed from conventional cleaning to using de- ionised water, it works as well if not better than the old method, and leaves no streaks plus its safer for him as he uses his long pole for the first floor windows. He's doubled his prices in the last 18 months because of higher overheads.

Yes it's all the rage, but I can't afford the rates my neighbour gets charged.

Our one used to charge £12 for front, back and side for years but put his prices up £2 to cover ULEZ as he couldn’t afford thousands for another fully kitted van. He lives about 100 yards from me and I chat with him some mornings as he is filling the tank in his van. Don’t know exactly how he does it but he runs a hose from his house to the tank in his van and it’s made in there.
