Hello,
One of the roof purlins is bowed.
Not sure if this is due to 'settling' or because of join into wall? Not sure if join has slipped or whether it was built like this in 1930s.
The bow of approx 1 inch doesn't seem like it is getting worse over the time I have been in the house.
Planning getting the tiles and batons replaced. Could the purlin be replaced at the same time without removing the rafters?
Also are there any options to replace the purlin whilst keeping the existing tiles and rafters?
Thanks
