Hiya,
After googling I think its a purlin, 1960s house, new roof about 10 years ago, been in a year, just really noticed this (other trades been in loft not mentioned anything to me). old dear lived in it, so she may have been taken advantage or not.
I am crapping myself as just finished renovating and carpeting and no money left so any advice is really welcome
There is no visible sagging or defects in roof.
Is the splicing normal, also whats easiest way to fix it (roofer/builder), can it be done without having to prop from rooms below etc?.. (other side of roof is same but its resting on an uncut solid brick)
How worried should i be?
thanks all.
