In my project, there this an internal brick wall 100mm thick. A strut 75x100 sits vertically support a purlin via this wall. I want to removed this wall and put a beam to support the strut and purlin. The mirror image of this wall has been done donkeys years ago. They used 2x50x200mm span 3500. There is no cracks. I don't know how to calculate point loads, and can find any tables on internet. Do you think BC will accept this has proof it works?
