Hi, push fits on boiler, can jg push fittings be used on central heating systems and boilers? Is there any regulations saying they cannot?

Yes - they have a temp rating of >85deg @ 3 bar. No issue on CH.

Boiler manufacturers usually specify a minimum distance of copper pipe attached to the boiler but beyond that point barrier pipe and plastic fittings are ok.

As already quoted, the boiler manufacturers installation instructions will normally state if the initial connections to the boiler should be in copper and if so, the minimum length.

I got the idea he was talking more about the fittings rather than the pipe. The pipe discussion has descended into copper against plastic mayhem on another post, that I'm just not getting involved in
