Hi gents, just wondered if anyone can help me find what I'm looking for - Im sure you'll find it an easy question. If I explain in simple terms then you can hit me with the trade terminology, and any links would be even better :D

I have 22mm tap connectors on my new bath that Im installing and I'd really like to connect it using a flexi tap connector with 22mm screw on tap connector at one end and 15mm pushfit on the other (yes my supply pipes to the bath are still just 15mm and not 22mm unfortunately)

can anyone point me in right direction as all places Ive looked have either 22mm on both ends or 15mm on both ends - I'm a bit confused !!!

Thanks in advance

thanks - is 3/4" meant to refer to the 22mm tap connecting end then

3/4" is only 19mm so I thought the 3/4" connections I keep seeing wouldnt fit ?

Thanks mate - your replies are very much appreciated

Imperial pipe sizes measured the bore of the pipe,
metric sizes measure the outside diameter,

So a 15mm OD metric pipe is a pretty close match to a 1/2" bore imperial pipe.
A 22mm OD metric pipe is the nearest metric equivalent to a 3/4" bore imperial pipe.

Pipe thread sizes define a thread suitable for cutting on the outside of a pipe of a given bore without seriously weakening the pipe. The BSP thread form has persisted after metrication.

So a 1/2" BSP thread is almost 7/8" diameter (0.825" or 20.995mm).
A 3/4" BSP thread is over an inch diameter (1.041" or 26.441mm).
