pushing a washing machine under a worktop

Hello all..
While waiting for the new washer to be deleivered, can anyone tell me if there are any tips on how to slide a washing machine into a gap in a fitted kitchen? I have heard of things like using washing up liquid on the floor helps in shoving it under a work top.

yep washing up liquid,works very well on lino floors.

Generally the installers have this covered? You want to worry about pressure rates in the supply to the device, and has the machine been balanced correctly..

But if you are installing it yourself, remember to remove the fixing within the machine, or it will shake itself apart.
