Put the tube in the gun the right way...

On Friday I put a double barrelled tube of Timbabuild ERC10 epoxy resin in to the gun and dispensed some, which I then mixed and applied to timber.



On Monday, I noticed that it was still very soft and would not sand back. I had to remove it with a sharp chisel.

I soon realised that I had absent mindedly put the tube in the gun the wrong way up. I can now confirm that the label on the tube saying "important- put this way up" is there for a good reason.

We live and learn...

I agree but not when you put the tube in upside down. I could remove it with my fingernail.

Just as a separate comment why have the separate like and thanks buttons been combined into one "medal" icon?

No idea. On my laptop, if I hover, I get to choose, no idea what happens on a touch screen device though.
