hi

we are getting a partition wall put up and would like a few recesses put in it. the wall will be one side of a shower enclosure so it and the recesses will be tiled.

is this possible?

the wall will prob be 10cm thick so whats the max depth the recess can be? how is the recess supported within the wall?

thanks

its very easy to do, you just need to frame the recess to the size you want it, i would suggest some careful planning first, make the recess able to take a full tile or tiles in the back, to look better, rather than having to cut a tile, if the recess is going to be in the wet area angle the base slightly down towards the front so no water gets trapped in it,
