I need to put new roof as they are so many issues with current one. Can we do this during winter? Which kind of roof (warm deck/cold deck) is less risky in winter?I am more interested in warm deck. If i want to do warm deck What precautions i need to take?

What do all the roofers do between 22 Dec and 21 March every year?

That's a better job than teachers have!

You should have a look at any housing estate being built, they don’t give a f**k how much they get soaked

your challenges are:

1) getting loads of rainwater trapped in the insulation layer and sits on the VCL

2) getting the waterproof layer on - GRP has to be dry, EPDM needs to be dry whilst gluing.

3) if you use a temp cover, getting it watertight and avoiding water pooling

get a competent company to do it.

FWIW we often work in the rain , my rule is if it runs around your balls its time to go home.. :)

I'm not a fan of going to work with the wind-screen wipers on. But if needs must...
