PVC L-Shape Trim

In the winds in the late winter a piece of my porch roof trim blew off. I need to repair it before the wasps invade but need some advice please!

Ive attached a photo to show where the trim was and a photo from Google of what it should look like. But I can't figure out which way the L-Shape PVC fits in and how to attach it?? Any advice or links?

Thank you. So essentially just some flat PVC trim, cut to shape and adhesived on?
