I normaly don't write much on these boards - usually I work out problems myself with a circuit tester, pencil and paper but I'm running out of paper with this one so I hope someone out there has had a simlar problem and solved it.
Couple of weeks ago my son set off the alarm (Pyronix Sterling 10, - 5 years old) and now I cant set the system. When I enter the code the system shows 'Sterling Armed' and the tone changes. When I enter the code to cancel it tells me 'Tamper'.
I've checked all the micro switches and the only thing I've found is a dead battery in the alarm box - would this cause this?
would appreciate any coustructive comments.
