Hi, I've just changed the 2 batteries on a Pyronix Dual Tech PIR using the engineers' code, but I now get a restore required. I've tried pressing A and exiting but still no luck. I've re-opened the PIR to close it again making sure the tmaper switch is pressed but still no luck. I've just cheled my app and it say Lid OPen but that might have been when I opened it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

It's definitely on as checked it clicked when I pressed it. I'll take it apart and try again. Thanks

Didn’t happen to lose the front tamper spring by accident? Done that before the pesky thing flew off without me noticing

Was wondering if it’s on engineer restore for tampers ….and he hasn’t got engineer code

Are the batterys in the correct way? Have the battery voltages been verified? Do the LEDS light up when the batterys are inserted? Are the metal prongs at either side making good contact? Is there any corrosion on the PCB?

He did say he’s using an engineer code to change, but strange it’s going into restore required on exiting. Usually get test failed on a tamper trying to leave eng mode something doesn’t add up

That’s why I asked if had changed the batteries before ….it normally only asks for the restore when it’s programmed for engineer reset …
