Hi,

Not having great reliability with Pyronix wireless door sensor, paid for a professional replacement less than 2 years ago, now the new one has developed the same fault again: not registering door open. Battery is fine.

Looks like I may have to replace the door sensor often in the future, I want to learn how to do a straight swap of sensor myself.

I have read the manual, and understand I need to first delete the faulty one then pair (learn) a new sensor under ‘control inputs’. But I don’t quite get if I also need to set the input ‘unused’ and reconfigure all the ‘input attributes’ under ‘change inputs’ if I am simply doing a straight swap??

Many thanks in advance

Louis

You need the engineers code to replace the device.

Process is straight forward,

They have updated their sensors, but the old reed based sensors could just be the reed isn’t working properly. Check pyronix website for latest models,
