I have self installed the Pyronix Enforcer Kit 1 with 3 extra sensors in my Flat.
I only have 5 PIR's and the door sensor set up as below.
1. Door sensor is final exit - Area A + B
2. Hall PIR as Entry route - Area A
3. Living Room PIR - Area A + B
4. Kitchen PIR Intruder - Area A + B
5. Master Bedroom Intruder - Area A
6. Guest Bedroom Intruder omitable - Area A + B
It seems to work fine like this but I am considering changing all PIR's to entry route as I often forget things as I am walking out the door
My BIGGEST problem is the panel volume when setting/exiting and entering/unsetting
If I set use main sounder to 1
then set Area A entry and exit volume to 2 It is very loud I dont think its any quieter than setting it to 5 , it will wake my neighbours at night
if i set use main sounder to 0
then set Area A entry and exit volume to 5 its still too quiet, I cant hear it outside my door.
Any ideas how to get a sensible volume here ??
My other problem is my bathroom, this leads straight into my hall too so is entry route and at night the hall is disabled.
I have 3 inward opening twist and turn type windows in the bathroom, what would the best way be to protect my bathroom from entry through the windows ?
Thanks
Mike
