I have a pyronix line fault alarm that chimes every few minutes sometime it will be less frequent or more. Do any of you guys and girls know how to silence this, as I certainly don’t need reminding every few minutes.
I have no clue what communication devices are used (how do I find out?). It was installed when I bought the house in august last year, not had any issues until now.
Have you had any work done on your telephone line.
Opening the control panel and taking photo of pcb would help,BUT this could cause other issues like engineer tamper reset if programmed. Not easy to sort without right information.
I’ve had no work done on my phone line. Internet has never been off. The fault just randomly appeared. I’m getting to the point when I’ll just take the panel off and disconnect the battery and the mains.
The line fault monitor detects a drop in the voltage on the phone line connected to the alarm panel. Realistically you are going to need the engineer code to disable it. Or as you say you could power down the system if you dont use it
