You get to read about all those dodgy scaper and leggit tradesman who charge over the top prices for shoddy work but I would like to applaud the guys I have just had doing my rendering.

The guy gave me a price which I was happy with and he came on the agreed date about 9am and set up his platform. He asked me to look at the guttering and facia which was in a poor state and said I could have it done in a couple of hours while the platform was there for a x amount which I was happy with.

He did that first before the prep for the rendering and then started to take off the mastic around the windows where it met the brickwork and it puzzled me but he said wait until I have finished,

The work was very high standard and resealed around the windows with a very neat finish that was on thursday and said dont pay me yet have a good look over it the weekend and it you see anything wrong I will put it right "only pay me when you are happy" .

He said as work is now tight they will paint it for me next week for a x amount if they have no work on.
There have been lots of threads about dodgy workmen but no praise when its done right...........so here it is and this guy is going to get a nice bonus on top when paid...............

oh and he,s english incase you watched Bobski the builder

Well said JOHNBOY42. You're right, credit where credit is due. You should name the lad.

not sure you should name him on here till you've asked him, but any good trade's men or women you should all ways give there
name to friends and family as this helps build then a good local reputation and word of mouth is the best help any trade person
could ask for.
