Hi
Looking for some advice, we had lead flashing fatigue on top of one our bedroom windows due to an undiscovered hole from when the roof was redone years ago. We've had a roofer out who's replaced the flashing but has not put back the 'lift' as per the other window (see photos below) - his argument is the lift simple collects water on top of the window. What now concerns me is that the water will now run straight down the front of the window instead - he's offered to put a lift in but advised against it. Any thoughts? Either way it looks odd...
