question about foil backed plasterboard

Hi, i over ordered 9.5mm foil backed boards, is there any reason why these cant be used on the ceilings?

duplex or foil backed are ideal for ceilings.

you shouldn't use any thing else for a roof ceiling, though 12.5mm is probably better.

Better as in thicker, stronger, although if you've got too many theres no reason you couldn't double up, for an 18mm ceiling.

I was told it went very well thanks D. Can not remember too much about it, was drinking in the residents bar (Welcome Inn...You know it if I recall)after it all finished at four till eight in the morning, then straight in for breakfast a couple of hours kip then out on the lash for the day
