hi fellas, a question on kitchen pelmets.
i have red gloss pelmets to attach to kitchen units but which is the best way to have them as i think there is a couple of different ways they can be attached depending on which profile you prefer. Also should they come level with the edge of the cupboard doors or sit back in line with the cabinet carcass.
Ihave attached a couple of pics.

nice to seeyou here and active chippy 244 if that makes sence :D :D ;)

I would prefer them level with the door as well!

I really don't think there is a best way as it's all a question of taste. Chippie is right about asking the client

Looking at your bottom pic the face without the step in it should come flush with the doors. The thicker part on the other leg fits to the carcase and the step gives you a 3mm or so gap between door and pelmet.

In all pictures you have cut the mitre in the wrong plane
