Question on sink waste

Hi,

I would like to install a sink in a cloakroom.

There is a WC there at the moment and the soil pipe runs on the outside wall. I would like to drill a hole in the wall to connect the sink, the waste pipe would then be inserted in the soil pipe. I know i have to use a boss but will this need a rubber seal as well?
Also which is the best way to drill a upvc soil pipe to allow insertion of the Boss, holesaw?
