I'm trying to mount a TV on an internal wall. I couldn't find any studs behind the wall. I used a strong magnet to find the screws, couldn't find any.
I opened up one of the socket covers the the wall, I removed the internal screws too, it looks like a wall plug.
Could it be a brick wall? It's a new build house completed in 2022. Was expecting all the internal walls to be stud walls.

Thanks for any advice.

Pull the box out? If you tap the wall does it sound hollow or solid? Cut a hole in the plasterboard behind where the TV will go? Speak to the neighbours? It would be unusual for it not to be a stud wall.

Yeah just managed to pull the box out. It looks like concrete block to me.
The wall is 2.8m long. Some area does sound hollow when I tap on it, some sections sound rock solid.
It's a wall next to the stairs.

Is there a small cavity behind the plasterboard? If so it's probably plasterboard on dot & dab on blockwork, which would explain why some sounds solid and some hollow.

Yeah thanks for helping.
It is dot and dab, got some corefix to get the bracket on the wall.
Just surprised that an internal wall has block work.
