We've painted lots of things with water-based interior paint. It doesn't yellow, but if you are used to the other type of paint it might be a bit different to work with.
It does smell, but not as much as the 'normal'.

It doesnt yellow as there is no oil in it.....it does smell a little but a lot less than oil based stuff.....try chopping up an onion and leaving it in the room for a couple of days after you have painted.

It does dry very quickly.....which is useful if you have kids around..

The consistency does take a bit of getting used to....its like a thick vinyl silk, and be careful on large areas as the edge 'gosoff' very quickly.

Keep the room as cool as possible when you use it it will give you a bit longer to 'work' the paint.

The best type of brush is a synthetic bristle type.....but get a good quality one such as a Purdy...its well worth the extra cost in the long run.

The fnish isnt wuite as shiny as a oil based gloss....but its other advantages more than compensate...

Oh...its also available in Satin finish.
