Quick question about Evo Stik Plumbers Mait

Does anyone know if Evo Stik Plumbers Mait contains petroleum?

The Evo Stik website contains no info regarding it.

I am using it for a non plumbing use to prevent water getting into a rubber gasket but someone pointed out to me that it could be bad for the rubber if it contained petroleum.
