I dont know why you are asking about Radiant boilers.

They are a typical economy boiler which can give good service on a clean system.

They are not very well established in the UK and their sales volume is probably the lowest of the recognised brand names. They use independent service agents which can mean a quicker response then when staff engineers are employed.

Like many of the economy boilers they get a bad reputation because they are bought by builders and the unqualified and badly installed on dirty systems.

Very few CORGI registered people would want to fit them by choice. Is your "plumber" actually CORGI registered?

Yes he is - they just happen to be his fave boiler!!!!! I chose to go with Baxi as i'm ex British Gas sales and used to sell them as the Rolls Royce - but that was a few years back and I guess things change!!

I know that Part centre will not sauce thier parts any more as their stock control is rubbish

I would steer clear as I have found them a bit of a git to work on, not alot of room to replace parts etc

as for installation I dont do it so would not know, would like u swing to biasi, nice little boiler to service, fault find and replace parts on

for preferance Bosch and Buderus have my vote (i know they are the same company before the pedants eat me alive ;) )

Whilst Radiant boiler spares are not generally stocked anywhere, they will send them directly to you for next day delivery.

That may be a little inconvenient but is not a serious problem. Their service agents also stock common spares.

Having said that being able to get most spares for Baxi or Vaillant ex stock over the counter is a decided advantage for us.

Of course as Radiant were/are based within driving distance of Portsmounth makes that problem less relevant.

Joke:- call Radiant for some technical advice! Get told that their "technical" man has gone out to fix one of their boilers!
