I have a radiator that has started clicking due to expansion/contraction. It is one bracket causing it. Any trade tricks to cure this without removing the radiator? I did wonder about silicon spray?
When the rad was supplied it would have come with little plastc lugs that you put on the brackets to stop this from happening, too many people throw them away and the result is what you have
Thanks everyone. But as I said, looking for a fix without removing the rad. (And do those plastic bits fit old radiators? Suspect this one dates from the eighties, and yes I know it should probably be replaced.)

You can slide earth sleeving or other split open sleeving onto the loop on the back of the radiator, without removing it... It should lift just enough to slide a sleeve in... I've done it before.
