one of the radiators in my system is not getting any heat in it at all. The thermostat knob was missing from it when we moved in along with a few of the other radiators in the house. the other radiators run piping hot and where the knob should be there is a little sticking out metal knob which seems to control the pressure (guess thats what the thermostate knob pushes in and out) so they are always running on max, but the radiator that is cold, the little metal knob isn't sticking out quite so far and if you push it, it stays in and doesn't pop out again. I've tried to get it out further with pliers to see if that makes it come on, but no joy. Any ideas on how i can fix it or whether this is a job for a professional?
