This may be a stupid question but I want to put a 90 degree bend from the end of the exsisting radiator fittings so that I can fit a towel rail which is fed from the bottom.

The exsisting valves have a small thread. Will I be able to simply buy a 90 degree compression joint? If so how would I then attached to the radiator, I was told that you get "tails! that connect the valve to the radiator??????????

Cheers

I'm really trying not to have to drain the system!!!!! is there any kind of valve adaptor/tail piece or other fitting I can use with the exsisting valves???

It would look really silly, but a bent 1/2in female iron to 1/2in male iron in chrome would do it. Put the male end into the towel rail and put the spigot of the rad valve into the female end.
