Hi.

I am building an extension with a bay window, It's a 50 pence shape on the front so 1 main front and 2 sides at angles.

I was considering installing 3 radiators underneath the three windows of the bay. How do I go about connecting them up? can I pipe the 3 radiators together, essentially making it 1 large radiator.

Or any other ideas are welcome.

Thank you in advance

I'd pipe them up as separate rads. If you connected them in series they would not heat evenly.

I suppose you could connect them top and bottom, but that might end up looking like a dog's dinner

I would probably do it as a hybrid in my own house.

Two in series and the other in parallel. Saves a lot of pipe and work and gives most of the advantages of both possibilities.

i think the tidest finish could be achieved by connecting each rad in parallel (similiar to other rads in the house), and conceal the pipework in the wall. if the wall is block, dryining with 40mm void would be sufficient.
porposal illustrated in image below.

drylining with high density insulation would improve heating efficiency by reducing fabric heat loss, which is normally quite high behind perimeter radiators.

hope this helps
