I need to consistantly bleed a small radiator in one of the bedrooms because it make to much noise. I cannot identify the leak I am thinking to use Fernox leak sealer solution in the expension tank can I combine it with fernox protector as well?

Presumably when you bleed the rad, you are getting air out?
There is a possibility that some black sludge in the system (called magnetite) is actually producing its own gas, rather than air actually entering the system.
A clue, to a certain degree, is to isolate that rad, remove it and take it into the garden for a garden hose flush. If you get a lot of black stuff out then clearly there is magnetite in your system.
John :)

IME any air getting into a system, or gases generated within it often tend to gravitate to one radiator. That is probably down to the pipework layout in your house rather than a problem with that particular radiator.

What is the state of the water in the system?
Is there a corrosion inhibitor in the system?
Are there any other symptoms, like pumping over, or hot water in the F&E tank?

to be honest with you the rad is cold on the top left part where the bleeding screw is located.

am not to sure about inhibitor but I presume so teh boiler was installed back in 2001 moved into the house a year ago some of the rads are a bite rusty. the F&E looks dirty I need to clean it sooner rather than later. The pipes make some cracking noise at some locations but this is due to the pipes are expending when hot and the boiler is noisy sometimes
