Radiator pipes in honeycomb plasterboard wall

has anyone ever tried or know if its possible to hide radiator pipe work inside a honey comb partition wall like this?

Ive got a similar wall that has a space of about 35mm between 12.5mm panels each side.

I was thinking of cutting a channel out on one side of the partition and removing the cardboard inside, in order to conceal some radiator pipe work rather than box it in at floor level.

If this is do able what would be a good way of filling/leveling the channel before tiling over?

It would be a horizontal chase, maybe 1 to 1.2 metres max. Then a short vertical chase, around 200mm or so.

Over that distance you will weaken the panel(s) and probably run across at least one very thin timber stud which you definitely shouldn't cut

Do you know if these kind of panels are designed with to carry any significant sort of load?
I always thought they were justa quick way of putting up a partition wall.

The panels (Paramount board) aren't load bearing. As you say, they are just a quick partition wall system.

Hmmm i was going to hang a small radiator on this wall... Might have to re think where to put it.

no problem hanging a radiator onto it as long as you use the correct plasterboard fixings, by non load bearing he meant it is not holding the ceiling up

Just found this thread which looks like what im trying to achieve is do able...might just have to re think the direction that i route the pipes in.
