I have a sealed combi system. I recently removed a radiator from the system and capped off the pipes. I have since installed a new rad elsewhere. The system has been bled thoroughly, and all the rads heat up except the new one I installed. All rads have TRVs fitted. I am unsure what to do next.

Turn off all the other rads and see if that one heats up.

Yep new rad is all plumbed in and bled.
I take it you topped up the pressure after venting the rads?

No joy. Not even the pipes leading to the rad are heating up. Any clues?
Does sound like a possible airlock.
Did you tee off the main 22mm flow and return pipes for the new rad?
Have you bled the system correctly?
What size pipe have you used for the new rad?
Copper or plastic?

How big is the new rad?

Fixed it. The lock shield valve was stuck shut. Changed it and we are away. Thanks for your help.
