Hi,
Hope there's someone who can help me.
I'm having some building work done to my house which necessitated the removal of a radiator. I drained the system and removed the radiator ok. As the rad is old and skanky, I will be replacing it with a new one after the building work is complete. I've put two blanking fittings to the 15mm pipes as a temporary measure. Turned the water back on to fill the system and all seemed ok to start with. I've bled the radiators and they are all full of water. my hot water tank isn't getting hot and most of the rads aren't either. (though a few are). I assume it's an air lock but I don't know where to start - any ideas?

TIA

I, MM

Close all the rad valves. Open each one in turn and bleed till the rad comes hot. Repeat on all rads.

That should cure it.

Good luck.
