I posted a question on here previously about a couple of leaking radiators.
I have now discovered that the leaks are coming from where the thermostat is screwed to the pipe coming up from the floor / passing in to the radiator.
If I unscrew and remove the thermostat there is a nut with a plastic infill and small metal pin sticking up (on to which the thermostat sits). Ok, I am not technical on these type of things so can someone tell me what this part is specifically called.
It is at this area the water is seeping through. I presume that I should tighten the nut mentioned above and then refit the thermostat? Is this a common problem / source of leaking?
Thanks
