radiator valve bust

hi, im decorating a room at the min, i went to take off the radiator and one of the valves is bust. i.e can't close it fully. the little nib at the end is off. what should i do? drain the whole system?

if you mean the tap spindle then yes drain it down and replace the valve.....if it's upstairs you only need to drain down to that level.
 
if he's draining the system down won't he have to re-add corrosion inhibitor when he re-fills it?

Maybe, but that's assuming there was some in the first place.
