Radiator Valve Fitting Back to Front?

Hi all,

Hoping for some advice.
I am currently fitting a couple of new radiators and I am trying to establish if I can fit the valves as per my pictures.


This first picture I am fairly sure is OK...

But I'm not so sure about the one below....

Note that the photo's only show the lockshield valve but the same question applies to the TRV's as well.

I know I could use corner valves but I'm using Pegler Bulldog TRV sets and they do not manufacture corner valves and hence I am not sure which corner TRV valves would work with their TRV heads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Either way perfectly acceptable do them head down regularly particularly on towel rails.

As long as they're bi-directional (haven't seen a single direction one in ages)

You can buy "corner valves" for that, they look much neater
