Hi all,
I have recently moved into a house that has a decent sized loft which has been floored and partly paneled. From where the roof meets at the top, down about 90cm on each side it is bare rafters, the joists are 12 and half cm deep (5").
Is it ok for me to push polystyrene panels on to the nails coming through the roof and then panel over the top of it (with hardboard)? The poly panels are about 5cm thick, leaving me about 6cm gap behind the hardboard and poly panel.
Would it be ok for me to do this? I have attached a pic of what i have done so far.
Thanks Max.
