I am wanting to raise my cold water tank to gain more pressure/flow etc etc, in my loft there is the chimney breast which at the bottom has a nice concrete lintel which protrubes the brick wore by 3"
If the first pic you can see the area i plan to build a structure to house the tank.
I've tried to put measurements on the pic to help with my question.
Will the two wooden beams that are going from the brick wall into the other end of the roof space strong-enough to take the weight of a tank.
The other end is a sloped roof (i'm end terraced) so the top beam is only supported by the beams that run from top of roof to the bottom.
This is the end i'm on about, the top beam is suspended by the roof beams so will that be okay to take extra weight at the other end like this
