I need to raise the height of the concrete porch floor. It’s 1.7m by 1.3m and is currently about 70mm below the height of the rest of the house, but this does vary a little bit. The tiles and adhesive that I’m going to fit will take up about 13mm, so need to raise it between 50 and 60mm.

I was originally thinking of using some type of self levelling screed, but I do have some hardie backer board left, so I was thinking maybe chipboard and then hardie backer.

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks
