Hi all. I’ve moved into a new property with decking which has large plastic storage boxes on it. I want to raise them off the decking slightly so there is airflow under them to stop damage or rot happening to the decking is this a good idea and if so what’s the best way to do this? ( hopefully I’m posting this in the right category!)
Many thanks in advance.

Just get some 2x2 treated timber, cut to size and slide it underneath.

The boxes will degrade in sunlight, so soon they will be cracked and broken and you can take them to the tip.

2x2 won’t support a floor that requires complete support like those cupboards, they have a floor of plastic a few mm thick and are not self supporting.
