Random Pics on laptop.

Hope this is the right place for this. Currently on Windows 10, but also had this with Windows 7. Now and again, I have loads of pictures on my laptop from Facebook that I have never downloaded. Usually they're profile pics of friends or friends of friends plus thumbnails of all the little games they advertise but I know, I have never physically clicked on them. It's almost as if my laptop has snatched them. Anyone come across this and have any idea why it's happening and more importantly how it can be stopped? Have done a google search but have not come up with anything so far. TIA.

When you say "on your laptop" where do you mean? Most browsers will store cached data on your machine to make loading previously visited pages quicker to load, typically these would be pictures etc. What is the folder name within which these pictures are located?
