Hi,

I’ve recently moved into a property with a Range Tribune He immersion heater. I have a few questions…

1) is there any way of controlling the temperature? When I run the hot tap it is too hot to use (also expensive heating to such a high temp!)
2) is it possible to put this on a timer so it’s not running 24/7?
3) would it be cheaper to put it on a timer (if possible) or more expensive to be heating it up from cool regularly?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes the temperature control is under the cover and access is vis the nut. Be careful though as removal will expose mains wiring. The temperature should be approx 60 to kill off legionella bacteria. You can fit a timer or just use the switch to turn on and off when you like.
